There's not really much to keystyling. it is what it is. Freestyling on the keyboard.

Basically

• you dont take much time on what you're writing.

• You just come up with stuff and jot it down and then post it. Without as much thought going into it as the pre-written stuff would get. Of course this means the verses done while keystyling aren't perfect or amazing. Though they could possibly be if you are a good writer and are good with coming up with things and have a good grasp on the english language.

• keystyling isnt hard. In fact, The more you keystyle the easier it gets

• Keystyles tend to have a raw feel to them that prewrittens/writtens lack

• keystyling is a great way to test your writing skills. It's fun to test yourself and see if you can beat the clock. Back in 2000-2002 textcees used to have keystyling battles all the time and have a time limit on them. 20 line battles due in 10 minutes and stuff like that. It'd make things alot more challenging and it would show who truly had the better keystyling skills. It's sad that most heads these days stay away from keystyling and prewrite instead.

If you are a text battler and think you are good at text battling I encourage you to keystyle battle every now and then. and if possible keystyle more often than you prewrite. Prewriting can take the fun out of this hobby. It makes you want to have everything perfect. but everything doesnt have to be perfect, it can always just be a keystyle. And there's nothing wrong with a keystyle.
