The 2nd installment of the biggest tournament of the year. It is now a 64 Man Tournament. The best 64 heads that sign up get in. When you win this one you are officially the man for a whole year. Last year Calefaction won, and that helped him get Hall of Famed on the site. It also got him a ton more respect than he already had. He went off against Resin M-I-C in the finals last year, which was a dope way to finish it off. This year Calefaction is back and everyone is gunning for him. Some of the sign ups this year are Resin M-I-C, John Hensley, Oneduh, MetaSin, Calefaction, Lefty, Hush, ill nik-A, Deon, Blue Bayou, sound, Beyond, Joe Metts, Headless Verseman, Mercules, Orc and Shake-Zula. Are you good at writing open mics/topicals/flexes/stories? Then this is the text league for you. The NTL will put your lyrical skills to the test against some of the most elite writers on the net. Textcees/emcees from all over have come to this league to prove that they are the best when it comes to topical battles. This league is for writers not punchline artists, although topicals with punches in them are welcomed. (These battles count towards your overall site battle record)
